The Reaction Diary lets you track and record allergic reactions, symptoms, medications used, and other important details for medical reference.
How to Access
- From the Tools tab, tap “Reaction Diary”
- Or access it from the Home screen if you’ve added it as a favorite
What the Feature Does
- Records detailed reaction information including symptoms, triggers, medications, and severity
- Provides searchable history of all reactions
- Allows filtering by severity, medication use, and time period
- Supports exporting data for medical professionals
- Syncs with cloud storage if enabled
- Allows sharing individual reactions
How to Use
1. Adding a New Reaction
- Tap the blue “+” floating action button (bottom right)
- Fill in the reaction details:
- Date and time of reaction
- Suspected allergen/trigger
- Symptoms experienced (checkboxes for common symptoms)
- Severity level
- Medications used
- Additional notes
- Tap “Save” to record the reaction
2. Viewing Reaction History
- All reactions are displayed in chronological order (newest first)
- Each entry shows: date, allergen, severity, and key symptoms
- Scroll through the list to see all past reactions
3. Searching and Filtering
- Use the search bar at the top to search by:
- Allergen names
- Symptoms
- Medications used
- Notes
- Use filter chips for quick filtering:
- Severe: Shows only severe reactions (breathing issues, throat/face swelling)
- Used Medication: Shows reactions where medication was taken
- Last 7 Days: Shows recent reactions only
- Used EpiPen: Shows reactions where epinephrine was used
4. Managing Reactions
- Edit reactions: Tap any reaction entry to edit details
- Delete reactions: Swipe left on any reaction to delete it
- Share reactions: Long press any reaction to share via email/messaging
- Export diary: Tap the share button (bottom left) to export complete diary
5. Cloud Sync (if enabled)
- Tap the sync button in the search bar to sync with Google Drive
- Syncs all reaction data across devices
- Requires Google Drive connection in Settings
Important Notes
- All data is stored locally and privately on your device
- Export feature creates CSV files for easy sharing with doctors
- Deleted reactions cannot be recovered
- Sync feature requires Google account and cloud storage setup
